CHARLENE, that depends. I know for example that I will be a stay at home Dad — so — I am building up to that while taking into consideration my personal need to create and make a living as a creative.
It’s taken me a while to achieve this mindset and I can appreciate how hard it could be when society has expectations based on long-held gender beliefs.
I think that sucks.
Luckily enough, I have come across men and women who have been able to change that narrative and they’ve made me believe it’s possible.
Especially when you have a partner who sees things the way you do in the aspects of responsibilities and gender roles.
