“Good call”= good decision.

“Call to action” not CTA) = anything you want the person giving you their attention to do.

When my mother tells me to pay attention, it’s a call to action.

A call to pause will, therefore, within the context of your piece, be a way to tell the reader to take a break — a pause.

Because that’s what you advocate with your writing.

I believe language is very fluid and I am always open to meanings that may not fit my previous understanding of a word or phrase.
