I have been using Evernote for a few years now. I haven’t upgraded to any of the paid versions, but I intend to.

Being able to start on one device and continue on whichever is convenient has really improved my ability to capture ideas or work on them in most circumstances.

Now, I use Evernote for all my writing and Google Calendar to schedule time for everything.

The web clipping functionality on the Evernote Chrome Add-on is an amazing asset if you read a lot and need to find things later.

Now, I write with whatever is available — of course, it’s usually my phone.
