Sandra, I feel you.
I’m dealing with adjusting to a new country, making use of the internet, losing my old readers, learning new skills…I feel overwhelmed almost all the time.
I ’m working on two things. Maybe you should too:
1. Building systems:
Like Iva Ursano suggested, allocate time blocked for a specific known task and do it when you said you would, and only when you said you will.
2. Stats suck, find something else to measure:
Social Media platforms change their algorithms probably every hour. You can’t rely on stats. Honestly. I prefer to focus on relationships, opportunities to collaborate, ‘money’, and value.
I really don’t think Stats are the way to go. Or, even if you have to, give yourself time to watch all the factors affecting the stats.
“Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”― Bill Gates
Start where you are, use what you have. Focus on value.
Work on your terms. Not on the algorithm’s fickle mood.
And if you asked my opinion, I’d say you’re doing great. You started with 0.
Where are you now? 😉
