Sharing From an Authentic Place
Why do we make things?
“We don’t make movies to make money, we make money to make more movies.” — Walt Disney
The reward of creating from a place of authenticity is the process itself.
The art is its own reward.
External validation becomes a bonus : money, awards, recognition.
When you can love the process, you’ve won: you tap into the infinite fountain; you make perennial sellers; you cause impact in the material and ethereal.
The hero must face ‘defeat’: any form of growth has an aspect of adversity.
It could be baby steps, or it could be 180 degrees from everything you’ve ever known. Either way, there’s newness to it.
You must prove your worth.
We are all worthy to ask of it, but will we dare to?
Will you weather the storm? Will you starve enough? Will you hold the mast?
When you accept the inevitable; when you let yourself be the route; when you give up to abundance and truth; when you can fully stop being, letting go of constructs, conditioning, society, culture, religion, and man-made ideals.
When you find your ‘why’, you can’t help but smile and glow from within — when you realize that you’ve never been alone.
You always knew who you were.
Welcome.
