You Need The Darkness
The quiet uncertainty of not knowing. The weight of decision and the fear of failure. These are all warning signs. Everyone who threads their path must face them at various levels.
That’s how you know what only you can know: your next steps, your fork on the road, your moment.
There will be many moments of darkness; moments you’ll wonder which way to go. As much as caution is essential and blind risk-taking isn’t heroic, taking too long isn’t a preferred route.
You must use the light you have and move forward. Because each step you take brightens the path before you.
You may never have all the light you need on your path. If you watch the path the others trod, bright, shiny with all the signs and directions, you may walk towards a life that’s not yours.
By the time you reach the end of their paths, you’ll have no light left to seek yours.
Remember to follow the darkness. It’s yours to uncover.
